Parade begins at 2:00pm - participants should gather at the west end near the public landing at 1:50.

Prizes! LSIA is donating a cash prize to the top 3 boats $100/$60/$40. awards will be annouunced at the LSIA Summer General Membership meeting.

27th Annual 4th of July Boat Parade!

Parade began at 2;00pm - parade boats gathered at the west end near the public landing at 1:50 in spite of the threat of rain. This year's suggested themes : Patriotic or Movie/TV series.
Prizes! LSIA is donating gift cards for the most festive boats, awards will be annouunced at the LSIA Summer General Membership meeting.

Great turnout in the 94 degree sunshine for this year's 4th of July parade - 23 watercraft participated making this year a tie with 2020 for the largest parade in it's history (assuming my memory is reliable). Thank you to all the participants and shoreline Spectators!
Special shout out to Sarah Evjen (parade chairperson) and Anne Horn (parade leader), this 25th annual Independence Day Parade would not have happened without your help!

The rain threatened but just before the parade start the sun broke through. A beautiful afternoon for a record setting boat parade. 22 Boats / families participated in this years parade. Thanks to all who participated!

22nd Annual Independence Day Boat Parade!

In spite of the threat of rain, a large group of patriots and super heroes gathered for this year's boat parade! Photos of the participants are shown in the slideshow below. This years decorating contest included prizes for most Patriotic and for favorite Super Hero(s)!
Winners were announced at the LSIA Summer Membership meeting / Picnic on Sunday July 22.

20th Annual Independence Day Boat Parade
July 4th, 2016
Thank you to those who participated!
The parade grand marshal was our outgoing LSIA president Nate Uselding. Parade began near the public access at 2:00pm. Nate lead the parade on a shortened route to save participants a little time on this busy day.
The official parade judge this year was Paul Klesmit, he lives on Woodhill Drive. Thanks to Paul and Ginny for volunteering to be this year’s official judges!
This year in addition to our traditional “Patriotic theme” we will be adding “Your Favorite Sport or Sports Team”. Could there be some Vikings and Green Bay Packer fans out there? Baseball or Hockey fans?

19th Annual Independence Day Boat Parade
July 4th, 2015, 3:00pm
In addition to the Patriotic decorating Contest Category the Theme was "Your favorite Disney / Cartoon character!
Participants should met near the public access / boat landing on the west bay at 3:00pm on Starurday July 4. Kevin and Anne Horn served as the official judges and reside on Woodhill Drive.
First prize for each category will receive a $75.00 gift certificate to Target and each second prize winners will receive a $25.00 gift certificate to Target!
Prizes were awarded at the LSIA summer picnic on July 19.
Disney/Cartoon – 1st place
